Supplier for 1K 25 watt cement resistor?

I've got it on order from Mouser......no stock (you guys have them all!) They can't ship untill November!!!! You folks know of another good supplier? I've searched....www.cpcares.com has them. That's about it. My build will be slow. Maybe that's good? I only need about 3 more parts to start. For the want of a nail....The amp was silent.

O.K. Is it O.K to use a 1k 10 watter instead? I know where to get those easily.

I think if you do the math, a 10W resistor will be fine. But then it won't be "a la Ken" as they say in France. I'm sure I've seen this discussed here before.

You can try Steve at Apex, JR. I believe he has 1k 50w resistors for about $3, and they are smaller (around 2") then the 25w sandstone type Mouser sells.

The NTE resistors from Arcade are exact fit like the ones KF used. They fit Dana's board perfect. And there only .80 each!

I do have in stock the 1K 50W $2.50 along with the Dale Type 1K 10 Watt
Wirewould silicone at $1.00ea. No stock on the Cement (Sandstone)
1K's at all...
