Reverb and Active Effects Loop in a D-circuit

Has anyone here built a D-circuit with reverb and active effects loop
all in the same chassis? Similar to a Two Rock amp.

Are you happy with the results?
Any layouts available?

I was playing my friend's older Two Rock.
It's the Amethyst signature with the switchable 6V6 single ended
output in conjunction with the 2- 6L6 power stage.

I enjoyed the added reverb and though the amp sounds good without it,
there was something special about adding a subtle amount of the effect.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

You could consider buying a Fuchs Verbrator.

It's an active loop probably very inspired by the Dumblelator. It has both serial and parallel operationand it has digital reverb parallel to the loop.

I don't have one myself, but I think it's reasonably priced......a DIY dumblelator w/o reverb wil probably cost more.

There are a handful of guys here that have built in a one tube reverb and one tube Dumbleator into their amps.
So that makes 5 preamp tubes total, so you have to make sure your chassis is big enough before tackling it.

For a really good quality reverb and loop you need 6 9 pin tubes to do it
1. Preamp
2. OD
3. Loop
4. Reverb Driver
5. Reverb recovery
6. Phase Invertor
That's why a scrapped 2 channel Fender makes for a good donor amp.

I have one build with an integrated single tube reverb with a medium decay Accutronics tank, not so stellar sounding but OK for adding a little depth in a small room, reverb almost inaudible in the full band setting.

Recently I have been experimenting with a D-Lator with a parallel two-tube reverb in a single rack unit with a long-decay Accutronics tank - awesome sounding reverb unit, but can't get a "small" room sound out of it. The next step is to swap the tanks and get a feel for how much that affects the outcome vs. the single tube driver vs. the paralleled full AT7 driving. Was also going to experiment with a "dwell" control to adjust the amount of drive as well.

Is it best to have the effects chain in this same order (loop, then the verb)? Is this also a one knob verb? I am doing a Twin conversion and may do the verb if laziness doesn't set in

I like reverb last because I like reverb on the delay rather than the reverse.
