Thanks, guys.

I appreciate the help.

I'll check out the cut circuit, Scott, now that I know what it is.
Particularly if it will help smooth things out some.
I knew what the NFB and PI trimmer were, but the other threw me.

ToneMerc and Sonny:
The new layout ( V2 ) looks like it matches. Thanks
I'll just follow closely.

Tom,
I hope you're feeling better. I'll use the HRM layout for sure.

FWIW.... Komet uses this same Vox NFB circuit.. I don't really understand why you would need the 47pf on the the PI plates (see Blue Monkey board) since the Vox cut basically does the same and more of it..Whatever!!
BTW.. Cap value is .0047

Veddy interesting.

Do you prefer that over the NFB/ Presence control?

Or are you still using NFB there somewhere?

No real reason I tried both and preferred this method better on this particular amp better especially in OD mode..

FWIW.. This Vox type cut control was designed primarily for the use of EL84s too help with the raspy sizzle thing when you push the grids.

What should the wattage on those trimmers be?

Seems like the Piher's are all really low wattage...

Most of the trimmers (except PI) are just messing with the signal so their power rating doesn't really matter.
