Thanks, but i'm just going to leave it as is i believe and increase the NFB resistor. Thats closer to what i'm aiming at, IE: more clarity as opposed to more high end. A subtle difference maybe, but there is a difference between them and it's the former i want. Just TAD more, so i may try a 68k instead of going from the current 47k to 100k. I tried 100k b4 and it felt a bit TOO cutting. Things are so close to perfect that anything more than subtle i believe will be too much. I could go to a variable NFB again, but i really don't want a lot of options...gets to be too much thinking about settings.

NFB control is a very good tool. I have a 6V6 JCM800 type build that I did all of the Tone Lizard mods too plus a few tweaks of my own and getting the NFB right was very important; too much or too little just didn't feel or sound right. I also added an 0.0047uF cap in front of the NFB resistor for a fixed "resonance" mod which is a popular addition to higher gain amps. Keep pushing dude, you'll get it! (Oh, and the pursuit of perfection is a noble trait!)
