Not so, this is what is says on the website for the Wet.

The WET™ Reverb does not use the module used in several other reverb pedals; it is an entirely different implementation with a new custom algorithm.

The EH Holy Grail is a decent pedal from an actual effect but it is noisy as hell if not downright microphonic.

Also- it has some wacky power issues in terms of how it responds to different power sources.

I love the Trex Roommate for use in loops and even with non loop Marshall Type amps.

It seems to be hit or miss on the Holy Grail pedals.
Some say theirs is quiet while others say it is very noisy.
Not sure if that has anything to do with the power supply you use.

I was going to get one but the noise issue scared me away.

Wow the T-Rex is expensive!

One reviewer said it was digital but it has a tube?
Another said it made a big hiss when stepped on.

Funny how everybody seems to try and emulate the Fender Spring Reverb, in pedals or effects units.
I had thought about building a standalone reverb like a Fender but never had the spare coin to do it.

From listening to clips and the amount of TGP'ers buying the Strymon BlueSky reverb, it seems like a good pedal.

The Wet pedal also sounds very good.

Before the RV-7 I had ordered a EHX Cathedral and I was disappointed in the reverb in that pedal.
Didn't sound any better than my Boss reverb, possibly worse and it was expensive.
It did have one effect I liked which was you strike a chord then step on this switch and it holds the sound like a droning tone to comp over.
But I couldn't justify keeping it for that one thing.

The Boss has that Modulation setting that is awesome, sounds like a choir when you turn that up.
It's still on the board for that one thing.:D

Thumbs up for Strymon! I never heard of it before but looking at their site, they get it. 100% all analog dry path! The way it should be.

Right on Scott- the Strymon looks to be the shizz-

Seems like DSPs (Silicon) is gaining strength in the effects and stomp market.

Interesting that the strymon has a left and right in. Liking there set up.
