Is the a schematic or layout available on a Dumble style amp with 4-6v6s? Thanks.

I was having thoughts along these lines as well, replacing Twin Reverb iron with Bassman iron.

Modifying the bias circuit, maybe reducing the 330uF filtering, anything else?


...or is this a bad idea from the start?

Yes you would just build the D'lite and double the 6V6 tubes.
Of course you will either have to mess with your impedance settings or buy a new OT.

The D'lite is optimized for 6V6 tubes.

I believe the 325-0-45-325 300ma PT could handle 4x 6V6 easily.
6.3vac @ 6A

The picture is a Blue Monkey but I have seen other 4 x 6V6 D'lite's.
