Hey All,
I am wondering where the best ground points are for the power supply caps.
I've attached a drawing of the PS Board as many of us have. I currently connect the 1st stage caps and the pre/PI cap grounds to the 'Bus Wire' ground along the front panel. The Screens ground goes to a ground point where the bias adjust is also connected.
Any problems with this method?

Well the Dumble way is to ground the first filter stage to a point near the PT bolt.
The rectifier board and PT center tap also ground at that point.
The PI grounds to the buss or at the input.
The screens ground to a point between V4 & V5.

124 has the screens and the PI together back behind the output tubes V4-V5...Ground #2 on layout below...... Pi is considered output section not preamp so you know
