IMO, that's a load of... nevermind. Reading that auction, I interpreted it as old stock of the silverface knobs commonly found on Dumble amps. Not as NOS knobs previously owned BY HAD. At any rate, if someone tried to charge me $12.00 for one knob, I'd wanna punch his eye !

i figured it was a load of (insert your item of choice here) also. just wanted to make sure. i thought HAD did not have custom made parts but used stock shelf items. the knobs in the auction *do* look like the ones on the amp in the pic.
thanks!

That is not a bad price.
For example, if you went with current production knobs, here are some that are close, but not exactly the same and they are also $12 from DigiKey http://parts.digikey.com/1/parts/746222 ... ba1-4.html

Also, Fender knobs are $15 from Antique Radio Supply.

Britain rules the seas! Excellent knobs, for a good price. Like those 30 mm knobs from UK.

Yeah, you can probably easily steel wool the numbers off.

When I Googled short skirted knobs this came up.

I used Tyco knobs for my '70s clone. P/N 506-PKS1106B1/4 at Mouser.

Not cheap at $5.42 each.

I read the H-C review on that amp. The reviewer said it was really stiff
