Help Tweaking Tremolo Depth

Post by moonshot »

Hello,
I have a harmony/valco 18 watt amp that I recently rebuilt. After getting it going, I find the tremolo to be a bit anemic.

I was wondering if somebody could suggest the cap and or resistor value to increase it's depth.

Here is a link to download the schematic:

How much did you rebuild? The values in the trem circuit are pretty common, and pretty much optimised. Replace the .01 and .02s with new 1KV caps; have a strong tube as the oscillator; replace the bypass cap on that tube, too. If that doesn't do the trick, holler back.
