Is there a D'lite HRM Layout?

Post by frischmann »

I've spent about a year playing with my D'lite.

I think it's a great amp in it's original form, and very versatile. I've also applied the "tweaked" changes. Which give up some versatility (I play a general business gig a lot) but just sound more....Dumble to me.

That being said, I'm pretty confident the HRM is the sound for me.

I'm still not very good at schematics.

Is there a layout I can follow to turn my D'lite into a HRM?

Thanks,
Paul

There's only a few changes. The OD entrance, the snubbers come off V2 and add the HRM board. Grab all these changes from the ODS-101hrm schematic and look at the HRM layouts. It's pretty easy to figure out.

Thanks Bob,
Based on Scott L's Bludo tone clibps.
I realized what I'm after is a bluesmaster HRM. I think the major difference is the tone stack correct?

And in the Phase Invertor values including the NFB and presence control.

Thanks again,
I noticed that. The PI looks like a Marshall, more or less as this is a D'lite (but growing up rather quickly). I was thinking of keeping the standard PI. I think Scott L had mentioned that the BM PI really only helped smooth things out when you hit the 100W mark..

I'm not sure. either way...this is going to be fun!
