Why do I see people use a 100k OD trimmer instead of a 500k trimmer. The documentation I have seen says it was measured at 345k.
Also what is a 'Cermet' trimmer, I know what a 'Carbon' trimmer is.

The 100K OD trimmer is the most common value used in ODS designs. (Check out ODS 101 Schematics in the file section), whereas the 500K (measured 345K) was one of the 'not so common' features used in #124.
