Final run of Funk chassis available-

Post by Funkalicousgroove »

Hello all!

As many of you are aware, my little business building amps has taken off like wildfire, and consequently, it is no longer in my best interest to offer my chassis for sale to the general public, as it seems that folks I have generously shared info, tips, and insight with are now starting their own amp companies, offering the same products I do, some even pictured built in MY CHASSIS WITH MY BOARDS!!!.

I sold my chassis to support the DIY community, not to support commercial builders, but 1or 2 bad strawberries ruin the whole bunch.

This being said, I am offering the FINAL run of the infamous “Funk chassis” complete with boards and mounting hardware as they always have been. There will be a total if 15 available sets and they are $250 each, plus shipping. Shipping will be $20 within the US, INT'L ORDERS ARE CASE BY CASE. These should be ready to ship before the end of June, so if you are interested in having one or two for yourself send me a PM.

Just so there is no confusion, you haven’t “ordered” one until you’ve paid for it, and these last 15 will be sold on a first come, first serve basis.

I also will be offering head cabinets for these for $195 each, and transformer sets for $235 each. (shipping not included).

I will also offer a bundle pricing option that saves you $25 if you buy a head cab, chassis, and transformer set.

I will not be posting pictures of these, there are plenty available on the site, I will say that they are of MUCH higher quality than any “similar” available chassis.

Thanks for your time and support,
Funk

What a shame. I am very sorry to hear that, Brandon, and we'll all be sorry the chassis will no longer be available.

So true. It's a shame. And Funk's not shipping abroad anymore either.
Just as well as I'm kind of broke

Due to the MANY requests, I have decided to open chassis orders to the International community with the understanding that International orders will ship last due to the extra paperwork.

I also just spoke to my sheet metal guy, who informed me that he ran an extra sheet of chassis, and there are a few more than the original 15 available.

Thanks all!!

couldn't you stamp the chassis with your company name or something to make it harder for someone to pretend they did everything by themselves? Kinda sucks for those DIYers not intending to turn right around and sell stuff for profit.

I gotta grab one, even if I don't build it for a year.

I thought about that, but then I wind up dealing with folks selling fake Bludotones!!

The PCB's have an Identification code though-
