Help! Mystery eyelet!!!
Not sure what goes here. I thought it might be a tie point for the OD relay com connection to the loop, but I'd like to know for sure before I wire it up.

It's a junction point for the pre amp out jack

Cool! After staring at a few Dumble photos, it makes perfect sense.
Thanks!

I think Gil will be cracking up on this one. I asked him the same question about 2 years ago.

what are the connections? i still don't get it!heisthl wrote:It's a junction point for the pre amp out jack
a zoomed out pic showing where the connections are would be great.
Re: Help! Mystery eyelet!!!
IIRC One wire comes from the relay board and one wire comes from the Pre Out jack - by using the junction the pre and power jack wires can run together in the layout.

On Non HRM amps one end of that wire goes to the Master

Re: Help! Mystery eyelet!!!
I think it must have something to do with order of assembly. It's easier to bundle the wires under the board and just leave a pigtail to go to the relay (or master). The other great mystery for me yesterday was where the hell the cathode grounds come out from under the board. Finally saw them peeking out from the tonestack and loop holes on the board. Sheesh, it's so much easier when you're NOT cloning.

I hear ya but when you do an exact copy you understand why people have said their Dumble was built like a tank.
