Post by sergio »

Hi, I've been trying to contact heyboer transformers for a while but never got a reply. Anyone know if the company is having problems or something like that?
Thanks
Sergio

Others have had the same experience, I believe. Perhaps they are not taking on any small or custom work due to their production workload, but it would be nice if they would just say so.

I have spoken to them three times in the last two weeks, and am getting responses by email within a day. Keep trying! I can tell you they are very busy and trying to get caught up on orders.

Hi Sergio, I can tell you they have a lot of production work in the queue and one-offs are expensive right now, if you need something custom. I have two pieces coming, but fortunately was able to get them in the queue a little while ago. I actually canceled three others, due to extended lead time and cost. I hope that helps. They are responding though.

Thanks Colossal , I don't need 2/3 pieces but I want to ask for a larger quantity.
I keep the email checked, I hope they can reply sooner or later.

Thanks

sergio in italy you have piemme elektra, they are very responsable and looks that have many nice trafos stocked for all kind of amps (according to the shop). i was buying laminations and covers from them and shipping was fast and cheap (4 days).

i can also wound everything what you can imagine (hi-fi/guitar, wax, shellac, paper, modern, M6/no M6, 0.33, 0.5mm, C cores) but now im in the middle of the ocean until who knows when so i dont recommend myself at all

We are regular customers of Heyboer, and they've been jammed lately by both supply issues and labor issues (unable to hire people to do the work).
