I noticed on the Francesca photos that the two bright caps are 'ganged' together on the wiper of the Volume control...and the 'hot' (top) lug of the volume control is connected to the switch. But in the 'Undocumented' amp the bright caps are ganged together on the hot lug and the wiper is connected to the switch. Does it make any difference?
Since the output (wiper) of the Volume control is connected directly to the next grid...it seems it might make a difference regarding stability...in one case you'll always have both bright caps 'dangling' off the grid and in the other case there is a resistance between the cap connections and that grid.
Second question is regarding the PI layout. It is reversed or backwards from the way I'm used to seeing it (i.e. the 82k PI input plate is on the far side of the board and the 100k plate is closer to the middle of the board). Even the Komet60 photos show the PI laid out 'normally' like I'm used to seeing in Marshalls/Fenders (i.e. 82k PI input plate is closer to middle of board and 100k plate is towards the end). What effect does this layout difference make?
