Laney AOR 30 Output Transformer
I was given a Laney AOR 30 chassis that looks to be complete with the exception of the output transformer and one of the pots. Does anyone know what kind of output transformer I need? Specifically, what the primary impedance needs to be. The amp has 2 6V6 output tubes, which I believe are in push-pull configuration. I found a schematic for the amp if needed. I emailed Laney, and a guy there said that he believed the primary was 4K ohms, but wasn't sure. The amp is supposed to be 30 watts.

Something is confus-icating: a pair of 6V6 will get you 15 watts. You need a quad to get closer to 30 watts.
If the amp is indeed 15 watts with one pair of 6V6, the target OT primary is about 8k. For a quad, it would be 4k.

I build and repair tube amps. http://amps.monkeymatic.com

A Hammond 1620 is the transformer you want to use if you have a need for max clean wattage and have the bucks, if you want more dirt and far less cost then get a replacement for a Fender Deluxe reverb.

You can indeed get around 30W dirty watts out of a pair of 6V6 with 8 kOhm Raa at 400V B+ (you hit g1=0 with anodes at around 36V).
With that bias voltage you should be around 25 mA of bias at idle.
