On your builds using 5902 for power, are you connecting all three cathodes or just using one (pin ? If the later, are you connecting the other two and just let them float, or?

There's only one cathode, but it's internally connected to all three pins (2, 4 & 8 ). You can connect to any of them but only need one.

Awesome, thank you very much. Any idea why they would design a single pentode with three cathode pins? I'm sure it makes it easier to do a layout. Other reasons?

I'm only guessing that it gave them more flexibility for compact layout.
