power switch for SE

Post by angelodp »

I am building an SE amp from available parts and I am planning a 120v panel light ( space reasons ). The switch I have is an Und. Lab part DPDT ON/ON. It has the six tabs in the back. Its rated at 6A 125v. The Panel light will be on the power switch in parallel. Its a neon RS type with built in resistor. I will only use the top part of the switch so its effectively going to be an on/off switch. This make sense to use.

It will work fine, when the switch is in the down position the amp will be on and the other side will be zip!
