Somehow, this morning's answer didn't post, go figgur.
Noval sockets can be 3/4 or 7/8.
Octal sockets can be 1 1/8, 1 3/16, or 1 1/4.
The answer depends on exactly which sockets you will be using.
Look at the Parts Express website. They tell you what size hole is needed for each of the sockets they sell.

Belton tube sockets are 30mm for octal and 18.6mm for 9 pin 12AX7 types.

Other black, brown, tan tube sockets come in variety of sizes.

Also take into consideration of the different brands and styles of sockets.

Like bottom mount and top mount.

I would try to order sockets (9 pin and octal).

That way you only have to buy two punches.

Don't worry about the square IEC socket in the back.
Just drill four holes and cut between them, touch up with a file.
But, if you could score a IEC punch that would be sweet.
But there are several sizes.

I'd love to have a full set of Greenlee's but not practical at this point.

If you don't plan on building a whole lot of amps, you could buy two different sockets (9 pin miniature and Octal)
The cheap route would be Harbor Freight or other cheap tool outlets.

tube sockets can require a range of punch sizes depending on manufacturer. I have had some octals requiring 1 & 1/16", others requiring 1". Novals 3/4" or 7/8".

Nowadays I keep a whole bunch of punches just in case.

1 & 3/16", 1 & 1/8", 1 & 1/16", 1", 7/8", 3/4", 11/16", 7/16", 5/16", 1/2"

You can never have too many tools,

or too many tubes for that matter.

Yeah I have 3 different set of punches but the 30mm and 18.6mm get used the most.
