Don't get that sort of deal to often in the UK, £10.00 per tube, will be stocking up on the shuguangs , one of the best sounding preamp tubes I have heard for a while, far better than some of the production stuff I normally have to live with

Yes, I heard there was a Chinese, "silver special" that was a very good tube. Yours have silver plates?

Good call, silver plates , square getter, as I said absolutely huge sounding, the cleans are something else, I am blown away by these tubes, I expected the Brimars to sound good but as soon as I put these in the amp went from being sterile and clinical to big soundstage , thumping low end, clear mids and just enough top end to sparkle without getting piercing, yep big fan , will get 5 or 6 more to hold in stock, I thought the NOS mazdas I had been holding back were good but these are friggin smoking :D
