Sorry if this has been hashed out before.
I read a lot of references to dumbles that were owned/commissioned by Jackson Browne. Also have read some stuff about them knowing each other.
I guess does anyone know the history between the two? Was JB the first "big" artist to use dumble stuff a lot? It's a little odd in the sense that it seems like a lot of early dumbles were used by more songwriters than the usual "guitar heroes". How many/which dumbles did JB order? Does he still own them? I've come around to Jackson Browne's music more recently so I typically associate him more with an acoustic-guitar playing kind of vibe.
EDIT: I'll dig around some more, thanks for the heads up.

Re: Jackson Browne and Dumble
There is a rich history there. The search function will help you get the information you desire without making someone type it all in off the top of their head. It includes HAD, JB, Lindley, SRV, and more. Much of it is documented right here.
