I posted this in the files section bout a week ago but should have posted here instead, sorry of you are reading this again.
! am going to embark on a D build and am going to base it on the ODS-101-HRM. What I want to do is possibly make it simpler. For instance I may get rid of the 1st tonestack and just use the 2nd one as I have read many of you apply the PAB, which lift the first. I would appreciate any comments as to what options can be excluded and what are essential. Such as, what would coupling cap/resistor between the stage 1 and stage 2 now the TS is gone, specifically what frequency should be the -3db point? I see a number of largish cathode bypass caps which kinda scare me.

Re: ODS-101-HRM, simplified, overdrive only
ever seen the electroplex rocket schematic? I built it, to be honest it KIKS HARD and is a easier build than a dumble esp when it comes to tweakin!! PM me i have the scizos..It has a cathode follower tonestack!! ( overdrive only) ANd does sound phenominal, Gil Ayan seconds that as well in prior post..ontariomaximus wrote:I posted this in the files section bout a week ago but should have posted here instead, sorry of you are reading this again.
