Thanks to a TAG brother

Post by Colossal »

I just wanted to say a public (and hopefully humiliating) big thank you to Reeltarded/Miles for helping me vet a recent guitar purchase. Miles really knows guitars and I turned to him with some questions. Found a guitar I really liked, the timing was right, we chatted about it, and I pulled the trigger feeling good. NGD today!

Thanks buddy!

I saw it. Wooden body and neck with a top. Hardware in all the holes. Has electronics connected to a jack. Pretty sure it shipped in a case.

Hey dudes!

Sorry for leaving you hanging. I get the cowbell for that. Nobody calls NGD without pics. 1st rule of Fight Club: don't talk about new guitars without pics. I just wanted to acknowledge Miles.

Anyway, here she is! 2013 R9 '59 Reissue, Lemonburst. Sorry for the bad picture, no time to get a good one.

Love that lemon burst. :) I hear the 2013's are real nice.
Miles I knew you were having back problems when I saw you in September but I think that is a little extreme. Hope that was not the one you were walking around with at the expo.

Yeah man, will do! It plays and sounds great. Didn't get much time with it today but played Ramble On and it's heaven. It will get to play with a Plexi, Express, and Liverpool soon.

Never cease to be amazed at what people do. <man shaking head in disbelief>

On a serious note, for weight reduction, there is a Guild LP knockoff (Bluesbird) with a chambered body, rumored to be a very excellent sub for a real LP for guys who don't want the weight. Example: http://www.ebay.com/itm/GUILD-BLUESBIRD ... 3cd165d054

Real nice lemon burst you got there...sweet. Enjoy it.
