Someone gave me a couple nice PA's!

Post by Phil_S »

Not too long ago, I accidentally caught up with someone I worked with over a decade ago. He rescued a couple of PA amps from a church. He said they'd been gathering dust in his basement for about 15 years and needed to go to someone who might appropriately repurpose them. It turns out that someone is me!

Scoooore! Now toss a couple bucks in the collection plate - or into your local food bank or homeless support - it's only fair.

These look like excellent candidates for guitar amp conversion.

Nice!

So much better to morph them into guitar amps than having them waste away as dust magnets. 8)

It will be some time before I can get to these to even make them safe enough to test the transformers. I'm sure they are good, but I don't know what I have except these were both running a pair of 6L6. I wonder what plate voltage I can expect?
