PPIMV in 100w

Post by Mr Wright »

Is it possible to put a PPIMV in an amp with four output tubes with separate grid leak resistors?
If so, how would one go about doing so?

I tried searching for a quad 250k pot and try it that way, but I had no luck.
I thought of doing two PPIMVs and try to keep them at the same level during use, but something in my head tells me that will have strange results.

Any ideas? or am I thinking incorrectly about this somehow?

See (and save / inwardly digest) http://www.blueguitar.org/new/schem/tra ... _pages.pdf
Page 41 onward is relevant to this.
The Type 2 / lar-mar MV; I can't see that it's practicable in your case, without a 4 section pot.
Suggest the type 1 or type 3 (cross-line).
