Those JBL's are 12s or 15s? Also, the dogbone handle doesn't add up to a vintage amp. Is it a vintage amp with a new handle? It's a beaut for sure. I'd love to come across an early 60's twin at a reasonable price, pipe dreams being what they are...

No buddy. You are looking at original hen's teeth. This is a transitional model without anything on this end of the transition for almost a whole generation of amps.

Next model was a BF with verb.

Yes. Maybe the only you'll ever see. There are less than I have fingers.

I think Jeff Beck has a few of your fingers. :-)

Yep-perrrr.... Handle IS correct. Got me some browns with that too. One day I was called in to have a look at one like Miles's and it was so well-preserved it looked like new. For the record Fender did make black non reverb Deluxes just '64-65 I think and a 1x12 non reverb Vibrolux '64 only. Got me one of those VLux and it IS a honey. There are some odds n ends, sleepers & deadend models that belong in the side show, all very cool. Yeh, the White amp too. Somebody - tell us about THAT one. With a picture for extra credit.

Is that a 6G8-A? And I assume those speakers are 12's?

This is the only amp I own (well, discounting my grab-an-go SCXD and my in-case-of-emergency backup Egnater Tweaker 15) that I did not make myself. Kicks teeth good and solid. What a brawny babe. I didn't go out looking; we met at a swap meet.

The highly prized D120F's if I don't miss my guess. Dick Dale claims he "elbowed" JBL & Fender until they started putting 'em into amps. Groovy orange paint and F for Fender.

old fenders are cool, I had a fake old fender-brown vibroverb that was a good little amp. Played a brown super once, I was afraid that one was going to go up in smoke at any second but it sounded...well, SUPER.

The white twin is also as new. I will have gut shots for all your prying eyes maybe late tomorrow. Today was about moving stuff to get to stuff and evaluation of what needs to go where.

This is a harder process than showing up with a piece at a time. Never do this. Sell your shit and move to the mountains.. The low mountains that are easy to walk up.. or take an elevator or a cab, jeesus.

I just saw a non reverb Deluxe for sale yesterday for about $1500. Kinda cool, I guess, just for the intrinsic value, but awful trem and no verb... Not for me. :?

I have two non-verb black Deluxes for sale. I will place the for sale stuff in the where it belongs place over the next couple days.

There will be a a center control bandmaster, a couple concerts in brown, very clean pro w/15, a black vibrosonic reverb, several super verbs, tweed deluxes, a couple bassman combos, a silverface super r with a leslie.. some gibsons, a hock pile.

Sorry, Lou. Yes, 12s in whitey.

1973 SLP with slightly earlier full mod. 1982 cabs w/30s. Was a famous guy's south leg touring rig and near mint until it lived in a house with an oil furnace for a while. Qxyclean maybe?

Dunno

Had two of 'em because one night I got to mix NRBQ and Al Anderson, that was his rig. I was inspired. Foolishly sold one but retained the other, not so foolishly. Much the same amp as the brown Concert. Got one of those too, early reverse TBV controls. Some collector will cough up serious moolah for this someday I hope. Gittar Ctr on Sunset had a reverse Super, they wanted $7000 in 2005. Who knows what it really went for. With a price like that it invites offers or someone with bottomless buckts o cash.

Blackburn, one of my super talent customers found one of the non reverb Deluxes for a mere $100 at a garage sale only 5 blocks away from right here. Yes it's nice to have reverb but he was very enthusiastic about it because lacking the reverb, it had a bit clearer tone with fewer stages for the signal to pass thru. Vibrato blinky light same as all the other blackies, nothing to complain about, at least with his. It was @ 20 years ago, seems like yesterday.
