Made over the 2nd-to-last week of my summer holiday out of a collection of parts I had lying around.
Loosely based on '65 supro thunderbolt but with switchable single/parallel V1* (instead of the single triode V1) and a James tone stack** followed by a vol control (instead of the vol control followed by a one knob tilt control) and a 12" speaker (instead of a 15" speaker***) and a tweed style chassis (instead of a thunderbolt style).
* gives option of more gain with the otherwise unused triode
** I like these tone stacks - they have excellent treble control and lovely bass eq for guitar
*** 15" speaker won't fit in the cab I made.

That's my stand alone reverb unit. I have a matching covered 2 x 12" amp where I put in an Allen Old Flame circuit but added Bias-vary trem. The combination of the BF style verb in the old flame cloney thing and the stand alone reverb in front is pretty surf-tastic.
Thanks Mark. The gingham is actually quite a tweedy fabric with a strong fabric weave to it, unlike tablecloth (but I'll concede that the pattern is confusingly similar).
