I saw a Trainwreck Express in a vintage store today.
1990 named Amanda Lynne.

Is anyone familiar with this amp?

So, amp for 38K, but with manual - over 40K. Hmm.

If they actually intend to ransom the manual to the person that puts down the money the amp, that is a dick move. :x

Not sure, but I think the manual is from a different seller. Weird, huh? I mean, who else would have the manual?

Very odd. I'll suspend judgement and retract the dick move comment...for now.

Not me.

Selling a manual for $2500 is almost as big of a dick move as paying $2500 for a manual. Dood, it has less knobs than a supermodel and you know that it needs to be grounded (says so!) and where the tube slots are!

That shop was in Santa Fe for a while before moving to Albuquerque, and I remember seeing some crazy stuff there, like a real '50s Nocaster - pretty sure that was around 20-30k as well. Only really cool amp in there at the time was a Orange/Matamp labeled 100W head. No TW :( Btw, I was just saw a new Trainwreck over at Make n' Music in Chicago. God, was that thing hideous.

Maybe you are refering to the laser engraving? If so, I agree its not as apealing as the traditional pyrograph artwork.
