Seek immediate medical attention if you suddenly go either deaf or blind.
If you put the Federal Government in charge of the Sahara Desert, in five years time there would be a shortage of sand.

We're some seriously lucky bastards to have lived during this time.

Re: Perfect!
Love both of those guys. My band covered Had to Cry Today (as well as other Winwood tunes) often earlier this year and we're now starting to hear others play Winwood/Clapton stuff more around town. The Blind Faith stuff is some of my favorite Clapton too.
I really want to see both these guys play sometime soon, they ain't gonna be around forever..

Both? Don't forget Derek Trucks and Doyle Bramhall. Two stellar players in their own right. Doyle plays a right handed guitar flipped over (although he's playing a custom in the vid) low E on bottom-outstanding!Cliff Schecht wrote:Love both of those guys

Re: Perfect!
Great find... I'm speechless! There are some real gems in the CGF performances.

Re: Perfect!
Heh I only watched a small snippet. I saw Winwood and Clapton, didn't see the other two. I'm a huge fan of both of them too. Doyle's dad helped SRV write songs, that makes Doyle rock royalty (not to ignore Derek's roots).HeeBGB wrote:Both? Don't forget Derek Trucks and Doyle Bramhall. Re: Perfect!
There are probably only a handful of guys in the world over the age of 13 that can sing that song in that key. I love the look on Steve's face as the song ends and he starts making eye contact with the other guys. There's a look there of immense personal satisfaction. Bravo!

It's good, it's good. Derrick might get gooder if he could learn to tune his guitar right..........martin manning wrote:This one makes me smile every time: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uWh8G5VL ... plpp_video
