Active loops in non "D" builds

Hi all,

In the sketching stage on a couple ideas. I really like the Dumbleator (either on board or in the rack) on Dumble builds and have used my stand-alone in a Route66 clone with some success too. Looks like it could fit in nicely on a 5F6-A type amp.

Has anyone built one into a more conventional (read simpler) amp design and did you need to change values/tubes to get the sound you wanted?
