Where can I find a nine pine socket that is dinrail mountable for 12AX7's?
The picture below is an octal that I picked up at Fry's Electronics.

A while ago I trolled the net without success for these.
Thought about making my own - maybe start with an 11 pin DIN socket & modify.

The 8 pin and 11 pin bases are very commonly used in industry for mounting relays. There's no equivalent 9 pin because it's not a pin format used by current industrial devices.

Tubes and more sells a 9pin socket mounted to a turret board that would the closest. You could easily modify it to terminal strips. Mount the board then connect jumpers from a terminal to the turrets. use the unused terminal strips fro prototyping.
