Hi.
Just wanted to share some gut shots of my latest build (nearly ready).
As my builds usually this also has been made with some parts that I have collected over years and just happen to have on hand. Nearly all of them has been recycled from vintage audio equipment or just got cheap otherwise. Transformers and choke are from really BIG ol' tube radio. It had 2xEL84 p-p power amp in it! Paid something like 40€ in 2001... Good catch back then.
I decided to use 6V6's in this amp as I like them more at the moment and I've always wanted a tweedish/brownish deluxe type tone.
Simple signal chain: One input goes to both sections (differently voiced) of 12AX7, two volumes (normal & brilliant), long tail P.I, tone (cut control wired backwards) and cathode biased 6V6 p-p power amp.
Probably got this baby running very soon.
I'll draw the schematic when I get final tweaks done and I'm pleased with the results.

I hope the amp is going to sound as good as it looks nice work of using what you have on hand.

It's a sweet looking build - it's got a turrent board fit and function, only using terminal strips. Good work.
Aren't you worried about electron bottlenecking in those right angled wire bends?

Gary, I bought those terminal strips about seven years ago from a local electronics store. I was studying back then and those were the cheapest
ones
Those should be widely available everywhere. Even Ebay Indonesia had some.
Did some fast googling for you and here are some links, so there you go:

And if you want to order abroad:

(the 28 lug tag strip looks actually identical to the one that I used)
