Info on Effects pedal repair

Hi, I have an old Ibanez Flanger pedal FL-301, I want to bring back to life. can anyone suggest a good trouble shooting site for pedals.

signal tracer - work your way through the pedal when the tone stops figure out why and replace the next part in the circuit test again (hopefully you have tone after the repair) and continue on until you are complete. plug in and enjoy. Don't forget a fresh 9volt :wink:

You can also use a tone gernator a dummy plug to turn the circuit on and an Oscilloscope to test the circuit. ground the negative and probe with the possitive. If you have a schematic and DVM you can check the circuit for specified voltages and speed up the diagnosis.

Reverse Polarity Diode

Thanks, petty sure it the reverse polarity protection diode I blew. Will be checking things out and get back if I need more help
