Question
I stumbled across the Thunderfunk website the other day and was reminded he was at one time or still is a / the only Trainwreck service center. He has a couple paragraphs stating how when Ken was to sick to build amps he stepped up and filled orders for him. Would this mean he could voice an amp and it would be a Trainwreck? I know there is going to be some debate as to what makes a Trainwreck authentic by asking this, but as a authorized service tech the manufacture assumes you are able to work on an amplifier and not take away from it's OEM. That would lead me to assume he has the ability to test and voice an amplifier to factory spec.

Re: Question
Dave knows his stuff. He built a number of TW amps for Ken.
Re: Question
Somehow I doubt that Dave would voice a TW clone for you.
I could be wrong but he may not approve of such things if that is what you mean.

Re: Question
my question is more, if he was to voice an amp would that make it a legit trainwreck?

Re: Question
Do you mean if he 'voiced' your Fender Tweed Super amp, would it then be a legitimate Trainwreck ? No.selloutrr wrote:my question is more, if he was to voice an amp would that make it a legit trainwreck?
