Doppolas, anyone have plans or know how to build?

Here is a link to a clip of a rotating "doppola" style speaker cabinet by Tolerance Sound. These are built in Spain and I couldn't find a U.S. distributor. Anyone ever build anything like this?

I've been on a Gilmour kick lately. I know this won't be everyone's cup o tea, but I've always loved Gilmour's playing and tone. Tolerance says they use a mercury contact for signal to the rotating speakers. I haven't even tried to find one of those yet.

I thought this would be an interesting project. When I'm done, I may have to build a Hiwatt clone.

In looking around a bit I found these connectors. They're pretty cool.

I'm wondering if anyone has any experience or thoughts on what type of motor and drive connection to use. I think with a little thought and planning, these would actually be really easy to build with the above mercury connects.

The motor, drive, and bearings will be straight forward, but a slip ring contact
for the speakers cost and arm and leg. Didn't know there was a company that
actually made those, jeeez... that looks like fun.

It would just be and induction motor and a wheel like an organ lesley.
Use a sewing machine controller for speed, sealed mid drivers any size.
trick to balance, I can seen one scooting across a stage like an over loaded
clothes washer.
