Hey Guys, gonna start wiring the transformers on my express clone...please correct me if I'm wrong on PT and tell me on OT..

PT

secondary
2 yellow wires 280 to diodes
2 yellow green 250 (unused)
2 brown to heathers
yellow/ red and white/brown to ground lug

OT primary

where do green go? V4 or V5? and where violet? V4 or V5?

thanks!!

One question, in the pictures of Francesca in V5 I see that the heathers are connected to ground with 2 resistors and I don't see that in the new express layout or in the pics of the undocumented express...why is that?

The 2x100R are there to create a "virtual" center tap for the heater winding. This is used as a ground reference, which is needed to minimize 60Hz hum in the signal path. If your PT has a center tap on the filament winding, which it does per the schematic posted above, then the 2x100R are not needed. Grounding the white/brown heater winding CT lead (at the same place as the HT CT) takes care of it.
