Believe it or not, because this is strictly a hobby for me, I got a huge sense of reward for fixing my Minuteman. If I had to pay someone, I probably could have bought several amps with the money as it took unreasonable amounts of patience and countless hours.

So, it's a matter of perspective. In either case, don't expect yours to conform 100% to any published schematic. I'm sure it happens, but just as likely, you have the amp du jour on your bench!
Yes Phil...but in my case I was doing it for a guitarist friend of mine who just loved the termolo on this amp but was having problems with the footswitch. My mistake was saying "probably nothing to difficult, couldn't be much to sort it out." Sure put my foot in it, didn't I? Guess I was feeling a little optimistic seeing as I had just righted another Explorer from its wayward ways, only to find that the two amps...same model year...were as different from eachother as night and day. But thanks to your assistance and patience as well as so many others here I managed to sort it out. Thanks for bearing with me...much appreciated.
