Don't really know - it sounds like the OP solved his problem by re-orienting his OT, so this may not apply to him. I just raised the issue because the problem DOES exist, if not necessarily for everyone, and it's something that people sometimes don't factor into their trouble-shooting. ).I suspect you're right regarding the ground issue in the wiring. But since this house I'm in is a rental, I don't have the latitude to start rewiring the place. LOL! Although if this were my place, I'd gut the wiring and the old breaker panel and start over...
