Don't really know - it sounds like the OP solved his problem by re-orienting his OT, so this may not apply to him. I just raised the issue because the problem DOES exist, if not necessarily for everyone, and it's something that people sometimes don't factor into their trouble-shooting. That's why I test-drive my amps at a home where I know there are no such problems (plus, I get to jam with my buddy through HIS assortment of vintage amps too, so... there's always more than one agenda for me when it comes to making the drive to his house...RJ Guitars wrote:Do we think this is a power ground issue or more specifically, a ground issue in your home wiring?
I suspect you're right regarding the ground issue in the wiring. But since this house I'm in is a rental, I don't have the latitude to start rewiring the place. LOL! Although if this were my place, I'd gut the wiring and the old breaker panel and start over...
