Dear Tony

I was curious about what you meant by acoustic suspension?

Was this the typical closed back cab or was there some weird porting, using less screws in the back so I contributes to the bass response etc.

Off topic, the guys who previously owned my old Bandmaster removed screws from back to get more bass from the enclosure, which it did, but it made a horrible sound when the speakers were really pushing air.

I put new screws in and all was well again.

Thanks for the info on the knobs, they look great!
Yours Sincerely

Acoustic suspension is air tight enclosure like Tom mentions..The oval port w/15 gave me a kind of low end honk around the 150/200 Hz range I didn't care for (12's are different) This might have been overcome utilizing different size oval port but just didn't go there.... IMO no need to port the 15 for guitar since it delivers plenty of low end naturally.. The AS design helped with the dampening factor of the speaker so I got this naturally compressed smoother tighter low end from it that I liked (especially in OD).. The drawback to the sealed enclosure is it's not as open sounding..This all a personal preference of coarse and one I liked a bit better and IMO worth it try both if you can.. Here is the cab.. Separate chambers Speaker/EFX/Amp..

FWIW... I had a 4X10 Marshall cab that for the longest time sounded really good...One day noticed it went to hell.. I thought the speakers had had it..I found the cheap plastic handles on the sides had broken and lost the seal.. Replaced the handles and wala.. Back in business..If you are a 4X10 lover those are wonderful cabs..Fairly cheap used,,Small light weight and great for gigging..Here it is goofin off w/Music Man

WOW!

First time I've seen that phrase. It's a sobering thought as this may become a significant distinction.

On a lighter note, great looking build (as always)
