I use a unibit..
You need a drill press but it is quick and accurate.
It takes about 3 minutes to drill all the holes..

That actually looks good; do you clamp it close to the hole for stability on a 1/16" faceplate and use some wood underneath?

It's an Irwin Unibit 1T...google it...lots of places, including fleabay; even Amazon has it.

You use that on 1/16" face plates?
I clamp a thin piece of scrap wood to the drill press table and the extra wood acts as a support for the thin faceplate.
Another thing that helps is to use a spring loaded punch and punch the center of each hole.
The easiest way for me is to have a spare chassis and clamp the faceplate up to the front of the chassis. I then use a mechanical pencil and scribe the holes on the faceplate. When you remove it I then use the punch to mark the center of each hole.
The center punch is is used as a basic guide.
This is the quickest and easiest way to drill out faceplates that I have found..
