I certainly did not understand your question.(I have poor English level.)
Do you mean plug out the rca cable from reverb output jack and short the tip to anywhere? Where to?

Steve is trying to determine if the noise is coming from the output end of the reverb pan, which can pick up noise. If you disconnect the return cable from the pan and short the end that should kill any signal from the reverb. Another way to test that theory is to see if the noise goes away when you turn the reverb level control all the way down.
