I think so.
Just to note that a JTM45 in fixed bias with those operating parameters may barely scrape 30 watts, so in cathode bias the power output would be somewhat lower than that.

Sounds good. 30 watts is really loud anyway, so im not worried about that. Id rather have clipping start at a lower volume. Thanks!

According to Morgan Jones' book on Valve Amps Va(b) refers to the maximum allowable voltage the anode can swing under signal conditions in contrast to Va which is the maximum voltage that the anode can be operated at continuously (DC).Firestorm wrote:You see that in a lot of British sheets, sometimes opposite Vb(o) (zero signal).
