Beautiful workmanship in those photos!

I've adopted the same buss-bar technique in my builds. I don't miss soldering to the back of the pot cases at all anymore (it always worried me what that amount of heat was doing to the innards).

I never solder to pot cases. I was warned off long ago by an old mentor from the HAM days. Okay wait, I have done it in guitars but that was many years ago. In amps a bus bar works great. And I've never had an issue with noise from ungrounded pot cases. I say leave them alone, they don't need it.
