I think the lighter fingerboard would be OK if you made either matching knobs, or matching pickup rings. Or both.
Or matching inlay around the F holes.

It doesn't matter that it isn't rosewood. Most of what everyone calls rosewood these days isn't, nor is mahogany true mahogany, or money of value, or..
