yeah the njwrecks, those wires look like they're the same. and in the top-view picture the bell ends and nuts/bolts look like the triode a-470. same as in the one posted in the other JM rocket thread.
the jovanna one has different bell ends. note that they don't wrap around. but yeah i'd agree the jm ones look like the a-470 ones triode sells.

Re: Jon Mark Rocket
If you get a good Mullard rectifier, it will last at least 10 years. I have more than that on my Rocket, high voltage also. Modern rectifiers may last 3 to 4 years...

Perhaps the rectifier topic deserves it's own entry, I have restarted it at this address.

Re: Jon Mark Rocket
If the Mullard last ten years and costs over $200.00 and the modern rectifiers work with a bit of massaging then the new one is the way to go.
The questions to be asked is does silicon diodes with a 100 ohm series resistor sound the same as a valve rectifier?
This is the easiest fix.
Given that there is a limited supply of four notch rectifier tubes I think toughening up the circuit for modern rectifier use is the way to go, but that is probably something for the new thread.
