Very interesting circuit!
I'm wondering about the feedback loop from speaker out back to the cathode on the EF86. We see this every day going to the phase inverter, I think this maybe the first time I've seen FB going from output stage back to the input stage. I realize this is a phono amp so I'm thinking this probably helps reduce distortion, but what effect would it have in a guitar amp? Is this similar to what Dumble did with the local feedback loops in the SSS??

I would not have a clue on that myself yet. i am going to rewired what needs rewiring and i was actually looking at that this morning myself. maybe one of the experts could chime in on that.
