Tsk!

.. the moral of the story is don't leave cramping short people with your unattended gear.

Can you even buy deep pile shag anymore?

Next time I put down carpet it's going to be astroturf. Move a couple picnic tables in.. paper plates... life is going to be much easier when I pee outside... err..

Reeltarded, I got to say I look forward to your posts.

You have a way of putting things that really cracks me up.

Have you ever considered writing stories? :D

No, but I have been told to tell my story while walking, or some such thing. I giess that is like a tour guide.

This ground thing is making me keeerazy! What a crappy thing to troubleshoot! All grounds need backlit indicators.

Hum changes with gain pot. Lower setting loudish, then hum dips out around 4, then returns around 6 and gets louder again. omg heh

That's new. Often it's the other way around. Hope you find it!

I had something like that once.turned out to be a bad ground for the filament CT.I still don't understand why.but the volume would act like a hum balance.no hum around 5 more hum above or below that.

Yes, exactly. I wonder if it would go away if I chopstick it with end cutters..

Amp sounds great! Hum is tucked in just enough to hide if you are playing. So, I play. haha

Everytime I stop the neighbors complain about hum.

it's like playing for the mob or the government. I stopped playing, a Lincoln pulled up out front, and I see helicopters.

Should I add a hum balance control then move this volume to the back as a hum balance control when that control acts as a normal volume?

Oh my god I built a theramin.

This is the most fun I have had with a catastrophe since I can't remember when. I actually like challenge, I just wish I was a little better at it. I'll get there. :)
