Thanks for listening guys.
The amp is for sure the star in this clip. Still really dumble like with the OD on but, that Tweed like front going in gives it a slightly different feel and sound. I am a hybrid picker and the thing that is cool about the amp is that when I pull up and snap or claw the string it sort of cleans up and spanks - then while I play with my pick it has a sustaining, hairy and singing overdrive with the settings I used here: OD Gain is at 9 o'clock, tweed pre is at 2 o'clock.
I'll do some Strat stuff on Sunday - It's off to the punkin' patch with the nephews today............

I love the different qualities in the Tweed tone you're getting.

On the earlier clip... I found that when I had the Tonkerlite in, I was turning the presence control all the way down on my amp... the TL has 'presence' treble boost built-in. You seemed to keep that in control pretty well on the clip.

I've set my TL aside for now, thinking it will make a nice speaker in a 2x12 open-back with perhaps a 'deader', 'flatter' partner.

Mark-
Thanks for listening. This recording is a single G1265 in the combo cab. As in the pic at top of the thread. I guess I never stop switching things around. ........ Favorite speaker treatments for this amp have been: G1265 in the combo and with another g1265 in an open back extension(kind of a mini stack) or a single EV in a TL box.
