mcrracer - do you have info on how you are combining the output? I have read about this previously but never close enough to try any thing, and not sure if there are detailed examples out there

I think I remember seeing that on Steve's site before.

I take it that the two preamp stages are halves of one tube, and not the first half of two tubes?

Yup - and on the Angela site he has an octal pre-amp tube wired in parallel with the noval pre-amp socket for optional octal dual triode .

And what benefit are the two rectifier tubes vs one?

Just gives you a bit of handy flexibility with the power supply I guess (in case you want to run just one 6V6, or one 6L6 for that matter)??

Hi tubeswell. I am not sure I have very many new ideas. Pretty standard fayre to be honest, but I'm certainly pleased to have general discussion about things. The main problem is that these have all been designed for my boss, so it's difficult for me to let go of any specifics without him getting mad at me
