I'm looking at the pictures of the PI plate resistor in #124, and comparing it to the schematic (124_schematic_182.pdf).
It seems the from the pictures that the 120k resistor goes to the side of the PI tube, connected to the 0.02uF coupling cap. In the schematic it's the 110k.
...or am I wrong (quite possible )

Well, I haven't built one, but the .02uF PI input cap is connected to a 1M and the grid of the PI tube. The 110k/120k resistors are tied to the plates of the PI tube. You can see the 110k peeking out from the right side of the trim pot. The 120k would be the resistor behind the left side of the trim pot. I think you're looking at the 1M over to the right - the one that's brown, black, green with a red tolerance band (2%).
